I have lived in Miller Beach, La Porte, Chesterton, all close to or within the Indiana Dunes National Park. From hiking at Cowles Bog, viewing the special carnivorous plants at Pinhook Bog, enjoying the sunsets at Lake Michigan, and exploring our varied trail systems, I have built up a real appreciation for the biodiversity and ecological significance we have here.
